Moffat Beach Course will suit winds from the south assisting the paddler heading in a northerly direction. The course heads 1km south east towards a large yellow turning buoy, keeping the buoy on your left you go around and then heading north to another large yellow buoy directly 500mtr off Point Cartwright, you go around the buoy on your left hand side keeping clear of the headland head south east towards another large yellow buoy keeping it on your left, keeping you clear of the Mooloolaba river mouth (spit). Then head directly to the arch on the beach.
Mudjimba Beach Course will suit winds from the Northerly direction assisting the paddler. The course heads 3km north east towards a large yellow turning buoy (2km from Old Women Island), then heading South to a large yellow buoy keeping it on your right hand side which will keep you clear of the Mooloolaba river mouth (spit). Then head directly to the finish arch on the beach.
Maroochy River Course is for inclement weather conditions only. The course will run anti clockwise heading towards Coolum keeping the main island on your left hand side heading up the Maroochy river for around 8km, passing under Bli Bli bridge, continuing until you reach a large yellow turning buoy. Keeping the buoy on your left hand side head back down the river. Once you start heading towards Cotton tree keep the island on your left, and high risers on the right, finishing at Cotton tree under the arch.
